HAMILTON – RCMP officials have confirmed that the leader of Men Seeing Men (MSM), a growing men’s rights movement linked to online threats and violence across the country, is the Polka Dot Door’s Polkaroo, despite MSM assurances that there is no Polkaroo.
An MSM representative, known only as Gordon, denied the involvement of the Polkaroo claiming, “If he’s our leader, then where is he? I only stepped out for a minute and I never saw him.”
RCMP officers on the scene conducted a thorough search of the Oakville compound known to be the headquarters of the group but, aside from Gordon, were unable to locate anyone else including the Polkaroo. A yellow polka dot muumuu was taken as evidence.
In recent months, Men Seeing Men members have been linked to a growing number of threats, acts of vandalism and even violence. A manifesto published online, believed to be written by the Polkaroo, reads in part, “For too long men have peeped through the door at an uncaring world, listening to the songs and stories and so much more from beta cucks and femoids. Now is our time. Polkaroo!”
Residents near the compound expressed a general distrust for MSM. Some admitted they had never seen the Polkaroo, only Gordon. Toronto area security guard Sam Crensahw claimed to have seen the Polkaroo but not Gordon. It’s unclear at this time if the two men actually know one another or not as they have never been seen together in the same place at the same time
