WATERLOO, ON – The release of BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) for iPhone and Android this week prompted waves of excitement amongst Blackberry owners who are now only a working phone away from being able to message their friends.
“This is going to save me the cost of emailing my co-workers,” said Jeremy Radcliffe, who owns a Blackberry Curve. “I can’t wait for the keyboard to start working again so I can use it.”
Others were happy that the new messaging system will keep them current with their social lives.
“All my friends have iPhones so BBM has only been useful for talking to myself,” explained Susanna Melville as she reset her Blackberry Q10. “If my phone ever boots up, I’ll be able to catch up with my friends.”
