GENEVA, CH – Sources inside one of the world’s oldest and most opulent country clubs have indicated that the country of Canada may have lied about its age in order to be considered for membership.
According to Denmark, a charter member of the elite Hapsburg Villa Country Club, Canada was overheard at a club luncheon defending its age as “considerably older than our military and infrastructure would suggest.” Canada spent most of the meal repeatedly referring to its “rich European roots,” and desperately emphasized the presence of British and French nobility “all the way back to the 17th century – probably even earlier.”
Club members also reported Canada making repeated, unsuccessful efforts to downplay its visible minority population.
