GUELPH, ON – Faced with different online colleges and the strain it might place on their relationship, high school sweethearts Jeff Breadle and Stacey Middlenan have decided to try and make it work the best they can.
“It won’t be the same as high school where we had the same classes together,” Breadle said. “We’ll be using different laptops, and sometimes you have to be logged in at specific times so we may not even be in the same room sometimes.”
Middlenan worries that Sharp might be tempted romantically by other online female students. “He’s going to Athabasca Online University,” she said. “I heard the girls there are all cyber-sluts.”
