Maxime Bernier blames multicultural extremists for plotting Winnipeg’s Folklorama

WINNIPEG – In yet another illustration of what he calls ‘,’ MP has slammed the diversity fanatics at Winnipeg’s for plotting a celebration of many cultures coexisting as Canadian.

“Every year, the event draws in tens of thousands of open-minded zealots,” said the former Tory leadership candidate speaking in a reddit thread from his account. “But next year, everyone will be forced to wear everyone’s clothes and eat everyone’s food all that the same time.”

After a thorough investigation, Bernier said he has uncovered a conspiracy by the Zoloto Ukrainian Dance Ensemble & Company to entertain audiences and a sinister plan from the Punjab Pavilion to serve chicken masala curry.

“Imagine if you’re forced to eat spicy ethnic food. I tried pad thai at a mall once and it gave me the worst heartburn. Canadians should not be forced to have heartburn because of these dangerous multicultural revolutionaries.”

Bernier said that Canadians should be suspicious of all parades, food festivals, and concerts that’s advertised as “cultural.”

“You won’t be laughing when all Canadians are required to fiddle a Metis jig wearing traditional Salvadoran clothing while drunk on Israeli wine,” Bernier said to his detractors. “Fun? No, that’s my version of hell.”

At press time, the MP was criticizing the government for not assimilating his French Canadian heritage into the anglophone majority.
