NOVA SCOTIA – The province of PEI finally returned a borrowed lawn mower from 10 years ago to its neighbours in Nova Scotia.
“The lawn mower is making a funny noise now and they didn’t fill up the gas tank, but at least we got the damn thing back,” said Nova Scotia premier, Darryl Dexter. “Sure, we could have bought ourselves a new one a long time ago but it’s the principle. We’re mostly upset that they sent us Christmas cards the last couple of years without even mentioning what was up and why they were holding it for so long.” The office of the PEI premier said they were just really embarrassed to give it back because one of their kids had damaged the blades while trying to mow through potato fields.
