TORONTO – Kicking off its new Fall menu next week, Starbucks has unveiled its new drink that consists entirely of foam.
The ‘Frothachino’ consists of small bubbles made from a steamer and comes in a variety of flavours from plain to pumpkin spice. Soy Frothachinos are also available, but cost $2 extra.
“Customers are excited about having more of what is normally in their drinks,” said Julie DeLorme, VP of Starbucks Canada. “It’s a low-calorie option that will draw an even more sophisticated clientele than before.”
At press time, a smaller, more convenient Starbucks was opening half a block from a larger Starbucks.
