OWEN SOUND – Conservative MP Larry Miller has apologized for telling women wearing the niqab to “stay the hell where you came from”, a claim which he refuses to apologize for.
“My comments were not appropriate for the radio show and I apologize and fully retract what I said,” a remorseful Miller said to the media. “I think I only said what I did because I truly believe that immigrants who are different do not belong in this country and I’m refusing to recant any statement I made.”
“If you don’t like my non-apology, you can stay the hell away from politics,” Miller added while straightening the Canadian flag pin he was wearing.
