TORONTO, ON- A recent report from the office of Olivia Chow suggests that the final preparations for her official announcement of her mayoral candidacy are possibly underway.
“I have recently given a lot of thought to the feasibility of possibly making my running in the upcoming mayoral election official, just give me a few minutes to think,” Chow allegedly stated at a recent press conference.
Some are not so convinced that Chow should rush into thinking about possibly throwing her potential hat in the hypothetical ring. Political strategist Bill Pacerfield believes that Chow’s should hold off, and play the ambiguity card a little longer.
“If she starts planning her statement too soon, it could leave her in serious trouble,” said Pacerfield. “It would basically be the equivalent of looking at the place where a pool of sharks could be, and wondering if she should jump in! It’s a speculative jungle out there!”
At press time, Chow was reportedly holding a coin in her hand, in the standard flipping position… maybe.
