VICTORIA – After apologizing for a leaked memo that revealed the B.C. Liberals plan to pander to ethnic votes, B.C. Premier Christy Clark stated that some of her best friends are ethnic.
“We deeply regret any harm that the memo has caused,” Clark said. “For the record I know it sounds bad to specifically target ethnic votes, but it’s only because ethnic looking people are very dear to me and many of them are my friends.”
Clark went on to explain how she loves her ethnic friends’ funny smelling food and how they wear different clothing than she does.
