LAS VEGAS – In an effort to start a playoff ritual on home ice for the team’s inaugural season, Las Vegas Golden Knights fans have tossed a heavily intoxicated bachelor party onto the ice during game 3 of the conference final.
Play was stopped between the Knights and Jets with 12:34 remaining in the first period when someone hurled the inebriated pack inside the Knight’s defensive zone.
For five minutes, the referees and linesmen chased down the loud, belligerent men in their late twenties staggered and slipped on the ice while fans cheered them on.
One of the men fell asleep at the foot of Jets defenceman Dustin Byfuglien while another urinated at centre ice.
T-Mobile Arena officials were quick to shovel up the remaining men and re-directed them into one of the city’s many sleazy strip clubs and/or casinos.
