OTTAWA — Prime Minister Justin Trudeau enthusiastically marked one year in office with a tasteful and sentimental Instagram collage.
“What better way to celebrate the Liberal party’s landslide victory than with pictures of me glowing that Valencia filter glow, sunny ways…” said Trudeau, who is widely celebrated for his expert instagram filter application and customized photo editing skills.
“I think the single greatest achievement of the past year has been all the beautiful and famous dignitaries I have had the honour of extending my selfie arm in front”.
The collage shows, among other things, the Prime Minister in his many travels, playing host to luminaries such as Emma Watson and Bono, and his many expressions ranging from goofy to exasperated posted during historic Parliamentary debates.
The most prominent picture featured in the collage is a selfie with Dominique Leblanc, long-time friend and cabinet minister, with the text overlay “#rideordie”.
The collage is tagged as “#TBT”, pronounced Throwback Thursday, which is often used by Instagrammers to draw attention to their last great hair day.
According to sources, Justin Trudeau was posting a tearful Snapchat story to his supporters as a grass eating panda.
