TORONTO – Though friends Brian Burke, 28, and Keith Pittman, 30, mutually enjoyed a four-day road trip to Montreal, Burke was accused of prematurely reminiscing about the event.
“We were on our second night of the trip and he was already talking about how it had been a ‘magical experience’ and saying we should do it again real soon,” Pittman told reporters.
“He kept saying, ‘Remember when this happened,’ and he’d bring up something kind of cool, like when the waitress at Reubens gave us extra pickles on our sandwiches, or when that cute girl kind of waved at us from the bus, but that’s not cool enough that it was worth talking about, especially so soon. You need, like, at least a week’s buffer to put things in perspective.”
Added Pittman: “The thing is, too, that as much fun as it was, I lost my wallet and neither of us got laid, so it’s not like we had anything that cool to talk about.”
