MONTREAL – Pornhub owner Aylo has disclosed the top search term on the website for the first half of 2026: “Buying things and actually getting to own them,” with the popularity of the search increasing dramatically the younger the generation.
In a recently released metrics report, related top searches included: “Twink Salivates Over Owning 1974 ABBA Vinyl Complete With Cover,” “T4T Couple Throbs Over Buying Deed To House,” and, “The Ultimate Gratification: Caressing a Mint-Condition Super Nintendo Entertainment System.”
“What we’re seeing with today’s youth is a growing desire and appreciation for more abstract and even post-modern interpretations of what could be considered pornography,” said Dr. Johan van Staveren, a sexologist working out of a clinic in Quebec City. “I believe it to be indicative of a societal desire to experience the everyday aspects of life that were once broadly attainable, but have now become increasingly exclusive luxuries in the 21st century.”
Since releasing their report, Pornhub has announced that it will be catering to this new interest with a limited-time subscription to a curated list of ‘not renting or subscribing to things’ content, including a premium catalogue of virtual reality selections such as “One Girl, Two Dinner Sets,” so users can personally experience, ‘the intense, sexual thrills of actual physical ownership’ for a special limited time.
Other results unveiled by the metrics report include: “Destination Domination: Bruce Fanjoy Totally Owns Pierre Poilievre In Carleton Riding,” “I Didn’t Think It Was Possible?! Winter Day Where There’s a Little Bit of Snow But Not Too Much?”, “Ultimate Forbidden Fantasy: Canadian Team Wins Stanley Cup,” and, “It Happened.”
