TORONTO – Ontario PC leader Doug Ford has vowed to fire the CEO and board of Hydro One, once he wins the Hydro One board of directors election he assumes is happening soon.
“It has been brought to my attention that Hydro One is privately owned, and that I’ll have to be a board member in order to fire anyone,” Ford said in a recent press release. “Fortunately, a complete lack of qualifications has never stopped anybody in my family.”
Supporters say this is just one of the many, completely realistic things Ford plans to do as premier, including cancel the CBC, cut government spending by ‘all of it’, and erase the memories of children who learned about condoms in school.
At press time, Ford was also promising to fire any subway car that didn’t immediately go to Scarborough.
