Halifax, NS – The stars of beloved Canadian sitcom Mr. D reunited for some adorable pictures over the weekend, but fans and producers are begging them to stop.
“We’re begging Gerry to promote Family Feud Canada,” said CBC executive Douglas Smith. “But every time he posts, it’s just another picture of the Mr. D cast doing the CN Tower EdgeWalk.”
It isn’t clear if Dee and his former castmates are angling for a reboot or if they’re just co-dependent. What’s clear is that they can’t get enough of each other.
“This is the third time y’all have reunited this week,” wrote one Instagram follower. “Don’t you have families?”
Series star and creator Gerry Dee took to Instagram to share photos of himself and his former co-stars having dinner, visiting several amusement parks, and cozying up by a fire in matching pajamas.
“Together Again ❤️❤️,” reads the sweet captain.
A quick scroll through Dee’s profile will turn up shots from Lauren Hammersley’s birthday party, Mark Little’s nephew’s Bar Mitzvah, and the time he ran into Naomi Snieckus at the grocery store. His wife and children do not appear.
“There’s simply no precedent for the stars of a beloved Canadian sitcom reuniting this frequently,” says quantum physicist Dr. Duncan Cheeley. “For the sake of humanity itself, I beseech Gerry Dee to stop appearing on Emma Hunter’s podcast and let another guest have a chance.”
As of press time, Dee is filming a Circle K commercial with Darrin Rose and Jonathan Torrens.
Update: They’re doing the EdgeWalk again.
