As Hans Christian Andersen famously wrote, “To travel is to live”. There is no better experience in life than discovering new parts of the world. But the discovery may be challenging if you are unsure of where to start. Beavefeed is here to help, by giving you tips for an amazing vacation from someone who travelled to Europe seven years ago.
Amsterdam, the wooden clog capital of Europe, or is that Germany? Things you cannot miss out of in Amsterdam going to that place that seems to be in the centre of the city, the “Lighteningspam”, I think? You gotta go to that art museum that I can’t one hundred percent remember the name of, but it has that ‘I Amsterdam” sculpture thingy outside of it, or was that in another place? Anyways, be sure to hit up the Anne Frank house which is close to the hotel I stayed at, so stay in that area, because that’s the last part of Amsterdam I remember before eating a “Space Cake” and getting too scared to move.
The eternal city. This place is gorgeous and filled with so much history that is hard for me to remember because of carb brain. You gotta go to the Vatican and see that painting that’s on a ceiling, the “What’s-it-called-ceiling”, you know what I’m talking about. There’s a really good sandwich place that is nearby the Vatican, or the Colosseum, so delicious! And you have to go to this restaurant that’s near the Fontana Di Trevi. I cannot remember the name, but I know it was near this row of payphones that was like to the left and up a bit of the fountain. Left is West, right?
Barcelona has it all, it’s just very hard for me to specifically remember which all they have. Barcelone is a party town, and you gotta party at the hottest club “Bamboozled”… or “Balaboos”. Wait, it was near the beach, but also near Gaudi’s Park, wait but I took a bus to the park and it took twenty minutes, or two hours? Oh, be sure to not use public transit because I feel like it was expensive, or too scary to use. And you gotta go to that famous market, the uh, Something Market and buy the candy, but I feel like that may have been in Germany. Wait, I’ve never been to Germany. Have I been to Germany?
The city of lights. What a dream, in fact it feels like a literal dream because I was very jet lagged the entire time. When in Paris try the patisserie, and nothing is better than the, uh, macaroons…wait but that’s coconut, these weren’t coconut. Anyways go to that bakery near the Eiffel Tower, just like five or twenty blocks away from the tower. Obviously go to the Louvre, wait, did I go to the Louvre? You know what, I just watched “The Da Vinci Code” on the plane, never mind. Either way, Paris J’taime!
I did go to Germany! Wait, it just the airport, oh it was a stopover. Um, try the uh, waiting in the area for you plane and try not falling asleep.
