MONCTON- According to recent reports, local woman Sophie Adams is still not entirely sure why her cousin liked her Facebook photo at 3am.
“Best case scenario, Tom’s in a different time zone, or he’s having trouble sleeping and the only remedy is reflecting on cherished moments spent with extended family,” Adams said. “That’s realistic, right?”
“Right?”
Adams added that the fact the photo in question was of her at the beach during Spring Break was only ‘slightly’ unsettling.
“I’m making a weird face in it, so maybe he thought the picture was funny. Or maybe he liked the dog in the background. Or maybe he liked that I’m getting outside and enjoying the sunshine in a weather-appropriate bikini,” Adams said with increasing anxiety. “All of these scenarios are possible.”
At press time, Adams was wondering if the extra long hug Tom gave her last year was relevant, or if it was just because they were at their great-aunt’s funeral.
