OTTAWA – At a press conference today, the Prime Minister announced plans to begin fast-tracking refugee applications from any and all Syrian refugees who can prove they’ve never visited the Middle East.
“Canada is prepared to take on our share of the millions of refugees who’ve fled the violent Syrian government and ISIS forces,” said Harper. “They can call Canada home, as long as they’ve never been associated with the Middle East region in any way.”
“After all, we wouldn’t want to accidentally let in any Islamic people.”
At press time, the Harper government announced that it would also be accepting refugees from Hungary, provided that they were not Roma.
