OTTAWA – The federal agency that oversees tax collection has promised all 35 million Canadians a nice bonus if they keep quiet about a $381,737.46 tax rebate given to former mob boss Nicolo Rizzuto.
“We understand that Canadians are a little upset about this,” said Minister of Revenue Kerry-Lynne Findlay. “That’s why we’re going to give all Canadians a nice $500 bonus and we can forget about this whole thing. Remember, if the RCMP or Auditor General asks, you didn’t see nothing.”
Canadians will receive a ‘Silence Tax Bonus’ comprised of $20 bills in the mail sealed in a brown paper bag.
