Another Canada Day is upon us and I just want to take a moment to say how much I appreciate the privilege to live in this great country. This truly is the greatest country there is.
Just this past year I saw my aunt get married to her same sex partner, my grandfather undergo a successful heart surgery, and my son has just finished his first year at a Canadian university. What a special place we all share where these things can happen without a struggle.
I can hardly wait for the celebrations to start later this afternoon!

Ah god I can’t believe this. What kind of fucked up country doesn’t have access to alcohol on a holiday!?
