EDMONTON – After working nine consecutive days to finish a lengthy report, 38-year-old Ted Bulfosky used his only day off to do his laundry and file for a divorce.
“It wasn’t really my idea for a day off but there’s just some things you gotta get done,” Bulfosky said while ironing a pair of pants and signing his initials on several forms related to his divorce. “When you’re working non-stop you start to run out of socks pretty quickly and other things on your to-do list start getting pushed aside. I’ve been putting off my divorce since February.”
Bulfosky is looking forward to a vacation in May when he’ll have time to watch episodes of House of Cards on Netflix and finally start on his chemotherapy treatment.
