EGYPT – With history about to repeat itself a mere two years since Hosni Murabak was ousted from his presidency and sentenced to life imprisonment, current Egyptian President Mohamed Morsi is acting like he has been living in a box his whole life.
“The man is behaving as though it is the same political climate that existed long before 2003 when Egyptians began pushing for democratic reforms,” said vice-president Mahmoud Mekki. “Hopefully at some point he will just read a history book or listen to what people around him are saying, or even just look out the window at the screaming mobs of people chanting for his head on a pike.”
At press time, Morsi was unavailable for comment as he was too busy reading a biography of former President Hosni Mubarak to find out what the fuss is all about.
