TORONTO – Toronto’s weekend G20 street party celebration failed to impress Quebecer Allain Duregard, 26, who visited Toronto Friday through Sunday.
“It was alright, I suppose,” Duregard said. “There were a lot of cops, though, and they didn’t really let us have much fun. For Saint-Jean-Baptiste they pretty much let you do whatever the hell you want.”
Duregard also expressed disappointment that the city had not arranged any sort of live-outdoor concert, and that most people went home early at night.
