During the 2024 US Presidential election, “bro podcast” hosts like Theo Von, Andrew Schulz, and of course Joe Rogan offered fawning softball interviews to Donald Trump and his surrogates, framing them as approachable and down-to-earth while sidestepping policy positions like “dynamiting all schools”.
Since then, the Democratic Party has spent months searching for its own dimwitted, intellectually-incurious homunculus who can broadcast THEIR message to his inexplicable millions of easily-suggestible daily listeners.
Well fear no more, democracy lovers, and say hello to Chuck Broger, host of “The Alpha Dawg Brogram”: a daily 3-hour podcast filled with MMA highlights, alien conspiracies, vaccine skepticism, and a host who will validate and parrot absolutely anything that a human male says to his face without question.
The best part? Broger follows a strict vegan diet, so you just know he’s probably on our lefty team!
Broger has spent the last decade building The Alpha Dawg Brogram into a thriving, multi-million dollar grossing safe space where guests and listeners alike come to have their egos massaged, their insecurities validated, and where the answer to every question is “your ignorance is JUST as valid as that dork’s so-called expertise”. Also, sometimes Broger does ads for veggie burgers!
While some within the American Left have argued their party should focus on lame things like “advocating for broadly populist policy goals” or “combatting and exposing the well-funded right wing disinformation machine”, we’re pretty sure that one utterly guileless meathead (hold the meat! and dairy!) podcasting in front of a neon sign that says “Brews & Broads” will be more than enough to peel off male undecided voters age 18-34 in key swing districts, possibly allowing Democrats to eke out a slim margin in the 2026 midterms. That is, if there even are midterms!
It gets even better! Did you know that in addition to being a vegan, Chuck Broger is a standup comedian kind of? When he’s not podcasting for upwards of 15 hours a week while doing bong rips with a tech CEO who’s lying to his face about how AI “totally won’t encourage kids to commit suicide”, Broger occasionally drops into the Texas-based comedy club he co-owns to perform half-baked riffs on how hard it is to pick the right bronzer for your nutsack. Is his comedy funny? Well if it wasn’t, I doubt the dozen hanger-on podcasters he employs would be laughing uproariously at everything he says! Plus, none of them eat meat, so progressive maybe?
As part of the Alpha Dawg Network, Democrats will now be able to spew their message completely unchallenged to other c-tier hosts once Broger gets too successful to return their calls. The network boasts also-rans like Mutt Grange, a pseudo-hillbilly dirtbag who likes quinoa and hasn’t even heard of fact checking! Or the KULK BOYS, a group of otherwise unemployable fucksticks who’ll gladly reputation launder your literal war crimes to their 12 million subscribers, provided you’ll take part in the “ghost pepper tofu challenge” on their TikTok.
So rest easy, nervous coastal elites! Regaining political power won’t require years of hard work to connect with Gen Z male voters who’ve seen their job prospects erode while America slides into late stage tech autocracy, not to mention the delicate balance of speaking to their legitimate concerns while clarifying that it needn’t come at the expense of efforts to empower women or other minority groups. All it’s gonna take to win is one impossibly-pliable numbskull with more listeners than brain cells who also happens to believe the barest baseline level of things YOU believe in!
