According to the five person poll, both the Grits and Tories hold 33% of southpaw support with the NDP a distant 17%.
“Both leaders have been meeting with the lefty lobby in this riding,” said Forum Research President Lawrence Nuxoll. “Stephen Harper recently spoke at the Yukon Left Handed Club promising more left-handed weapons for the military to better defend Northern Sovereignty while Justin Trudeau vowed a Northern Left-handed tax credit for left-handed musical instruments and sports equipment.”
Nuxoll explained that NDP support in the area plummeted after Thomas Mulcair made an unfortunate comment about having ‘two left feet’, a remark for which he was later forced to apologize.
According to the poll, ambidextrous voters could go either way.
