MONTREAL – Montreal’s amusement park LaRonde has issued an apology for breaking the Quebec’s privacy protocols by collecting visitors’ fingerprint data and will be returning to its policy of physically frisking guests to verify their identity.
“We were not aware of the controversy that would be made by creating a fingerprint database for our visitors,” said LaRonde’s senior communication officer Pascale Trudelle. “This is why we decided to return to our previous caress identification admission method for season pass holders who can be identified by the size and shape of their body.”
Season pass holders for the amusement park will be caressed by staff members to verify the visitors have the proper waist size, height, thigh cellulite and hair scent.
According to sources, LaRonde will be unveiling its new ‘Crotch Shot’ roller coaster photo system for all of its rides.
