Canadian Olympic Luger Mitchel Malyk announced today that he was “totally luged-up” to perform in the one-man luge at the upcoming 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics.
“Honestly, I’ve been luging my whole life, but have never luged like this before. I breath, eat, sleep, drink, and piss luge. Just thinking about luging, I feel like I just luged a big line of luge.”
When discussing the possibility of beating Danish Luger Felix Loch’s gold medal time of 3:13.85, Malyk nearly luged in his one piece luge suit, but commented that he was happy to compete, “win or luge.”
“Luuuuuuuuuge!” continued Malyk before launching himself down a flight of stairs.
