Trenton, NJ – Supporters of New Jersey’s long-admired governor Chris Christie were disappointed after the media revealed that he was – in fact – a politician last week.
Christie has been accused of intentionally orchestrating a traffic jam on the George Washington Bridge for revenge against an opponent and misusing hurricane relief funds to feature himself and his family in a tourism ad which indicates that the popular US figure holds public office.
“I thought he was just an ordinary guy with a strong moral compass” said Trenton resident Phil Scalia. “Then I realized he was elected as governor. I just couldn’t believe it.”
At press time, New Jerseyans had nothing left to love about their state.
