REDMOND, WA – Microsoft’s search engine Bing revealed its most searched items for the month of January, with the search phrase “google” coming in first a record 28th straight month.
“One of our competitors who shall remain nameless is famous for disclosing what people are searching for using its platform,” said Microsoft CEO, Steve Ballmer. “And by revealing our own most popular searches we’re showing that Bing is ready to compete with the big boys.”
Ballmer continued to describe Bing as a website on the rise. “We’re growing in popularity at an exponential rate. This month alone we had over 10 million unique visitors come to our site when they forgot their office’s Internet Explorer had our search toolbar set as the default.”
In descending order, the most popular search terms on Bing after “google” were “goggle,” “googlle,” “internet?,” “googler,” and “hot sauce.”
