KAMLOOPS, BC – Longtime pediatrician Dr. Lester said he had “no idea” why parents had stopped bringing their kids to his children’s health centre, despite having recently grown a thin blonde strip of hair above his upper lip.
“Was it something I did? Maybe I need to redesign my waiting room,” said the doctor as he stroked his new facial hair in a contemplative manner.
Parent Steve Kolberg, who now has to drive his children to a walk in clinic across town, said, “I was willing to overlook the fact that his name is Dr. Moe Lester, but this is just too much.”
With his practice in jeopardy, Dr. Lester said he was considering a new, more convenient way to deliver medical services to his patients, in which he drives his unmarked white medical van to childrens’ schools and houses for one-on-one treatment.
