OTTAWA – The province of Manitoba called late last night “just to see how it’s going,” according to a custodian working after-hours in Parliament.
At approximately 2:00 am, East Block janitor Ralph Nickles answered the phone and spoke to the prairie province.
“What’s up, man,” the province allegedly said. “It’s been a while. We should chill more often.”
Saskatchewan, Quebec, and Newfoundland said that they also got a call in the middle of the night and worry Manitoba was probably drinking alone in a bar again.
