BURLINGTON, ON – A cashier at a local Cinnabon was addressed as ‘chief’ yesterday.
Bill Pitkin, owner of an Oshawa-based landscaping company, had just finished a big meal at East Side Mario’s when he swaggered up to the cashier, adjusting his belt and chewing
on a toothpick. “How ya doin’ chief,” he is reported as saying. “Can I get a Cinnabon?”
The cashier got his order, prompting Pitkin to say, “Thanks, chief.”
