NEW YORK — During an interview on the Today show, Republican candidate Donald Trump once again accused Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton of playing the “woman’s card” to her advantage in the presidential election. Trump has now followed up his comment with the accusation that Ms. Clinton doesn’t even hold a valid woman’s card in the first place.
“I’m a little skeptical about the details of Ms. Clinton’s woman’s card,” said Trump. “We’ve never seen it. There’s something about that woman’s card she doesn’t like.”
Trump has stated that he will donate 5 million of his campaign funds to charity if Ms. Clinton can produce a long form copy of her woman’s card. “I want to see that document complete with the requisite certification from her doctor, proof of her apprenticeship under a licensed woman, and signatures from five other certified women.”
“She claims she went to Wellesley, a women’s college,” said Trump. “That seems like an overcompensation to me,” he concluded to raucous applause.
“How can we trust someone who falsifies their credentials?” asked the candidate who has never held any form of political office.
Trump concluded by urging voters to withhold their support for Clinton until the document is produced, tacking on a reminder that “Hillary Clinton failed New York as a Senator immediately after 7/11.”
