CRANBROOK, BC – After being reminded by Facebook of a birthday, local man Terrance Otis placed very little effort into wishing his distant friend a happy birthday.
Otis, 24, simply used the acronym “hbd” to wish his former UBC classmate, Shatana Nirav, a very joyous 25th birthday.
“I hope he has a good one,” said Otis who didn’t use an ounce of creativity into his publicly displayed message to a person he hasn’t seen in three years.
“I wonder what he’s up to…”
At press time, Otis was congratulating his sister’s friend’s recent engagement by half-assedly “liking” the announcement.
