OTTAWA – Peter MacKay will miss the annual Canadian Bar Association conference after insisting that he really needs to study for his upcoming LSAT examination.
“I had barely enough time to study to begin with,” a flustered MacKay explained holding an Oxford Seminars LSAT Preparation Booklet. “I was too busy sending berating emails to the Chief Justice and deleting any scandal references from my Wikipedia page. It’s rough being a minister of justice.”
This is the first time in recent memory that a Justice Minister has skipped the conference, but MacKay stated that he can’t bomb his exam like he did the three previous times before.
“I have to get into a good law school; otherwise the PM is not going to pay for it,” MacKay added.
At press time, MacKay was procrastinating from his studies by writing to female Justice employees about the dangers of becoming a prostitute.
