QUÉBEC – Quebec Premier Pauline Marois and the Minister Bernard Drainville, have mandated that all newcomers learn french so that they can comprehend the bigoted slanders made against them.
“All immigrants in Quebec must understand the most basic put-downs in french” Marois said during a debate on the proposed Charter. “In our democratic society, Quebecers have the right to be heard and newcomers must adapt and listen.”
Drainville argued that there are many in Quebec communities who are sick and tired of the blank stares they get after lecturing immigrants on how they are destroying the country with their religion.
“Citizenship is earned by learning french,” Drainville argued in a heated debate. “When they do fully comprehend our language, they will understand their rights and the ones the Charter will take away.”
