OTTAWA – After conducting a DNA ethnic profile, Prime Minister Stephen Harper has learned that he has Palestinian roots.
The Prime Minister had decided to take the test after spending hours on the website ancestry.com.
“We have discovered Mr. Harper has many Palestinian relatives,” said genetic counselor Jung Neela who conducted the test. “Most of these relatives currently live in the Gaza strip. In fact, he and Yasser Arafat share the same great, great grandfather.”
Harper reportedly reacted by demanding several re-tests, asked his staff to look into changing his DNA and stared into a mirror for fifteen minutes gently caressing his face.
At press time, Harper continued to deny his Palestinian genes citing Canada’s foreign policy, which has yet to recognize Palestine as a sovereign genetic state.
