MONTREAL – Just a few days before the election, a new poll in Quebec shows that Quebec Solidaire’s Françoise David is Quebeckers’ favourite candidate for premier they will not elec
According to LégèreCroppe’s numbers, 81% of Quebeckers who will vote for either PQ, PLQ or the CAQ, would like to see David come on top on April 7.
“She is obviously the most honest, rational, and trustworthy candidate”, said entrepreneur and voter Alain Borduas. “She was poised during the debates, seems to genuinely care about the people and our different communities, and she is the only one who has had open discussions with the anglophones of Montreal. It’s too bad I’m not voting for her.”
A large number of respondents also said that they were willing to work on Françoise David’s election campaign and donate to her cause so that they feel less guilty when they don’t vote for her on April 7th.
“Don’t get me wrong,” said Maryse Marin, another Quebec voter, “I would trust Françoise David as my premier and with my children, but I have to vote for one of the three scandal plagued parties. I wish I had a choice.”
At press time, an exhausted and visibly disheveled CAQ leader François Legault was last spotted wandering around the streets of Lachine repeating “Air Transat.”
