90-year old skydiver stays at home on birthday

HAMILTON – Having cheated death on 2674 attempts, 90-year old skydiver Jacqueline Dupray had no interest jumping out of a plane on her birthday.

The regular skydiving instructor at Ancien Air Skydiving plans to spend the day getting drunk at home and being overly opinionated, like she used to do back in her twenties.

“I see all these old people skydiving on their birthday, getting media attention on slow news days,” Dupray growled in her baritone smokers’ voice.  “It seems a waste that they waited so long to start living, these boring geriatrics.”

For Dupray, the conditions of her birthday were perfect; the sky had an unlimited ceiling, there was little wind, and she had a full 1.14L bottle of gin.
