OTTAWA – Embattled Senator Mike Duffy has made a return to his former career after resigning from the Conservative caucus to report a scandalous story about himself.
“As a journalist, I had to break this exclusive interview with Senator Duffy,” said Duffy to a group of confused journalists outside of the Senate. “I have an inside access to the man who improperly claimed over $90,000 in housing allowance that he claimed he repaid, but was actually paid by the Prime Minister’s Chief of Staff. Something smells fishy here.”
The former host of CTV’s Countdown with Mike Duffy and Mike Duffy Live said that his new show will be called Duffy on Duffy.
“There will be in-depth, no holds barred interviews with several important players as the story develops; the Ethics Commissioner, the RCMP and maybe even a judge and a few prison guards. Stay tuned,” Duffy concluded before he bolted out of the fire exit.
